Overall, my home buying process couldn't have been better! Other than one area that no one except the builder had control of. Our realtor that VU recommended was wonderful, our loan officer was a 10+ and the entire process from start to finish was exceptional. One thing that gets overlooked is the portal. I think the VU portal is awesome! The ability to watch the process is similar to watching your Domino's pizza in the app. You can see where it's at and what your loan officer is needing. The portal is great! Thanks for a rock star performance, VU and Cal!!!

This is my 3rd VA Home Loan and for some reason, the underwriter was being extremely picky about my time/travel share details. Started the process with a higher than normal debt to income ratio due to an auto loan my ex wife was supposed to take over (and eventually did). Just seemed out of the norm as I had almost the exact same background during my last loan application process...I'm sure there were differences but this was not expected and seemed really intrusive.
The process was pretty easy otherwise. The online to-do list and document center was user-friendly and easy to navigate.
