Drew Tillman was fantastic!(even tho he’s a Chiefs fan) he went above and behind to get my loan done. He worked past his normal working hours to ensure my questions were answered and documents were sent it. Dawn was fantastic as well! She helped calm my nerves and anxiety through the entire process. She had no problem answering my million questions and communicated with me every step of the way. The process was just under a month and me and my family are enjoying our amazing home. Veterans United is the best. I really love the open communication . If I had a question it was answered. JB Barton! I’ll say his name again JB Barton is awesome. I worked with him when I purchased my home and I worked him again when my family and I refinanced on our home. In between that if I had a question he always answered. If the rates went down but not to what we discussed he would openly communicate that to my family and I. It is because of JB Barton why I would recommend Veterans United to my fellow comrades.

I was always under the impression that buying a house would be a very stressful and difficult process. But working with VU completely changed that perspective—it was an unbelievably smooth and straightforward experience. My loan officer, Dustin Johnson, and his team were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and proactive throughout every step. They always kept me informed, answered all my questions promptly, and made sure I understood everything that was happening.Their professionalism and genuine care turned what could have been a nerve-wracking process into something I actually enjoyed. The only downside to closing on my house is that I won’t get to work with Dustin and his team on a daily basis anymore. I truly can’t recommend them enough to anyone looking to buy a home—they made my dream of homeownership a reality, and I’m so grateful for their support.

We found many issues with this house a couple days before buying, when we tried to back out, we were told we would be sued for breach of contract. Now we're stuck with it and it has at least 3 leaks in the roof, the sellers broke a window before we bought it, the walls are coming apart at the ceiling, and we continue to find more and we've only bought it 7 days ago!

While the VA appraisal is meant to assess the home’s value at face value, it doesn’t identify or predict underlying condition issues, which is why a separate home inspection is always recommended. That said, I hear how overwhelming this feels, and I’m sorry this has been your experience.
