Listen. If you are serious about owning a home, Veterans United is definitely a preferred option, in my opinion. The steps it took to purchasing our home was frustrating to say the least. In my wife and I case, we were purchasing from our landlord, so a realtor wasn't necessary. However, gathering the necessary documents, coordinating with the different agencies like appraisals, home inspections, insurance, title company, and loads of paperwork, signatures, and questions are still very much a part of the process. Our team, Nick Holman, Courtney Gully, Francie Greene, and the rest of their supporting members were there from the first phone until the closing on our home. They fielded every question, listened to all of our frustration, guided us through the whole process step by step, and we're encouraging, patient, professional, and, most of all, very polite, friendly, and engaging whenever we were in contact with them. I mean they kept in touch by phone, text, and email. Even sent us mail. Who does that in this technology age? Seriously, they were the best team my wife and I could ask for in communicating with us and our landlord to make this dream a reality!! I highly recommend Veterans United to anyone who’s reading this review, or anyone who asks is this company for real. The team at Veterans United literally saved my life. I was stuck in a mold infested rental home and the landlord absolutely refused to address the issue, even though my health was noticeably deteriorating as a result. After living out that true rental nightmare, I decided that it was time to buy my first house and I truly do not think that I could’ve done it without them. Everyone on the team was completely on their game and I was able to close on a wonderful home only 33 days after initially contacting them. I swear it’s like they wouldn’t rest until I was safe in a new home. Everyone was so attentive and available whenever I needed them. Being a homeowner was not a part of my plan for the year, but they helped me figure it out logistically and financially despite my lack of preparation. It was an incredibly stressful and emotional time to say the least and they were so supportive in every possible way. They really made it so I was able to maintain sanity through the whole process. They cared deeply about me as a person, not just my business. There are so many predatory companies in the home buying market and I am truly lucky they reached out to me so quickly and took such great care of me from the day that I reached out until the day that I closed and beyond. I genuinely could not be more grateful. I now recommend Veterans United to every single veteran who will listen to me whether they are currently in the market for a new house or not. They worked miracles for me and helped me accomplish a huge milestone that I did not even think was a possibility. Every single person on my team has a special place in my heart forever.
