Collin Ward was our POC at first and when I asked about a military grant through the state of Iowa he said that he was not an approved lender so we couldn't utilize. After further investigation I found that Nick Schuster, also with Vererans Home Loans, could help us with the process. He did a fantastic job of picking up the ball where Collin left off. If this company is going to use the word "Veteran" in your name, you better be ready to do anything and everything to help the Vets out, other wise your just using that word for your Marketing.
I was completely surprised of how personalized the relationship is between the buyer and the home loan specialist. Scott Miller walked me through the whole process and never let me feel as if there were any issues. He worked closely with me to resolving any issues with the loan process.

I worked with Nick Shuster from Veterans United and he was amazing to work with. He answered all of my questions in an extremely timely manner and made the whole process smooth. 10/10 in customer service from all of the Veterans United employees that I worked with.
Good experience. Need to be firmer with executable dates i.e. closing dates, dates of deliverables. Overall good though.
I was thrilled with the home office with John but then when we changed programs they have to transfer us. wasn't bad at first but closing was a struggle. I wasn't getting all information back and they set a date for us but told us that day about it.
